Rich, I agree, this team will go no where with Bobo as manager. I think current Brewer’s bench coach and former Mets manager Willie Randolph would be a perfect fit for this team. He has a similar passive approach as Bobo has, but unlike Geren, Randolph has a brain and makes smart decisions. The Mets didn’t play entirely well towards the end of his reign as manager with them, but when your players all struggle at once, there isn’t much you can do.

“Yeah guys…were officially fucked!” At what point does the pain subside & the torchure cease???? It is so fricken hard to swallow this crap day in & day out! It’s a re-occurring train wreck that keeps happening day in & day out & the front office can’t figure it out… This insults the players, fans & the rest of the competant major leauge baseball world! I just don’t get it??? The clint Hurdle execution should of been immediately followed by Bobo’s termination. This is a rediculous & outright flat out joke! A 3 year old Golden retriever K-9 could figure this out. It’s not rocket science here! How long do we have to put up with thi embarrasing crap! Lew, take control..what the hell is the matter with you Sir???????? I could name 12 unemployed managers right now that can comendeer this club & at the very least navigate them the rest of the way at .500 ball or better! Geren has demonstrated his incompetence 1 1/2 years too long!!! This is not even funny anymore!!! WTF??? -Richie D.

Geren’s moves just keep getting more and more stupid. I could not believe him intentionally walking Davis to load the bases. He has walked the bases loaded several times lately and they all end in walks or hits. The guy just doesn’t learn. Also, he should’ve let Outman finish the 7th inning in the first game — yes, he gave up a hr and a walk, but he had 2 outs and still looked like he could get out of the inning. I don’t know what Casilla’s problem is lately, but he’s not getting the job done.
