The Oakland Athletics scored four runs in the top of the 9th inning to come from behind and beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3. What a great win for the A’s on the road against a good Blue Jays team! Wins like this can really carry over and provide a lot of momentum for a team.
In the 9th inning, Mark Ellis got the scoring going as he tripled and scored Travis Buck. Emil Brown then hit into a fielder choice that scored Ellis. Bobby Crosby then doubled to left field that scored Chris Denorfia and Brown.
Ellis finished the game going 4-5 to raise his average to .250 on the season.
Fernando Hernandez picked up the win for the Athletics. It was his first win of the season.
